Where it all began.
My name is Julie LaPage and I am a fitness addict. Throughout my grade years, I belonged to several sport teams that, ultimately, ruled my life. As soon as I moved onto University, in both New Brunswick and France, I realized that I didn't have anyone standing over me telling me to get to the gym and to go harder, to go faster. Soon after that I figured out that no one was going to do it for me, so I joined an all-female gym, and started going to ALL of the group classes they offered. Within a couple of weeks, I was a regular and part of a family. It was great to have other women I could talk to about fitness goals.. we all motivated each other and kept one another going even if we didn't want to.
Once I could hold up a routine of getting to the gym, I came up with a weights program to follow. I quickly found out that weight came off much faster when you added strength training into the mix. So many women think that if they 'dabble' into strength training, that they will gain bulky muscles - but it's not necessarily true. If you combine the right amount of weight with the right amount of reps, then you will tone up and slim down - and it's these muscles that burn calories when you're not even working out.
This sparked my interest in both learning how the body reacts to different movements and related functions; so it only made sense that I mend that with my passion for group classes. I now have my certification to teach group fitness, and I am a personal fitness trainer. I also received my diploma and became a Registered Holistic Nutritionist through the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition. This gave me the tools I need to help women reach their goals even faster.

Meet Miss Andrea Bell
My name is Andrea and I am living proof that Julie's Bootcamp works! Three years ago I signed up for Julie's first class, and I have never stopped. Bootcamp has not only become an addiction, it has also changed my life! I have more confidence, energy, I am stronger and definitely happier. The challenge of pushing myself each and every class leaves me with a feeling of accomplishment and fulfillment. Throughout the last three years, I have learned that a person can do just about anything with a lot of hard work, some sweat and a positive attitude. I am so excited to become a part of the team at Julie's Bootcamp, and I hope to inspire other women just as Julie has inspired me.

I am now a Certified Group Fitness Instructor and am very proud and excited to be a part of Julie's Bootcamp team. I hope to help and encourage people to reach their goals as well as reach higher fitness goals for myself.
